Anthurium - The Republic Day Plant

Commonly known as Tailflower, flamingo and lace leaf, Anthuriums are exotic plants classified as herbaceous epiphytes and are native to Central and South America. It is a hot favorite of the gardeners because of brightly colored flower spathes and ornamental leaves. Leaves grow in clusters and showcase a variety of shapes. Anthurium flowers are perfectly shaped and are contained in a dense spiral. Flower colors range from Pale white to yellow with orange to red colored bract. Anthurium reaches up to 1.5 feet and needs medium care.
