Process of Photosynthesis: Photosynthesis can be defined as building up process that is ‘powered’ by the energy of light. During photosynthesis, carbon dioxide is absorbed, and the oxygen is liberated. These gases enter and exit the plant through tiny pores in the leaves called stomata. In the leaves of the plant carbon dioxide and water are chemically combined in the presence of light and chlorophyll. Through this process glucose is produced.
